I quilted my little top on the long arm. I used mono-poly thread and cross hatched it. I didn’t pre-mark and got a bit off on my grid, but it’s fine.

This leftover binding was a good fit.
Ta daaa!

After it was finished, I threw it in the wash to see how my appliqué job would hold up. It did well!

I used this old cheater fabric for the back.

And here it is all crinkled up on my coffee table.

This was such a fun little quilt. If you can, take one of Lori’s online classes. She’s a great teacher and the class is really fun.
Have a great day!
Your quilt is so darling! I hope you don’t mind if I share it on my blog.
Love it! I know that “cheater cloth” was around long ago because I own a real Crazy Quilt, and it has cheater cloth on the back. A Mariners Compas is the print on the back of the quilt Grandma gave me.
It’s adorable!
Cancel that “Lori who?” As soon as I hit the send button I know who. Lol It’s late and not much sleep this weekend 🙃
I just love your little basket quilt.
Lori who?
Hope you’re doing well and enjoying Michigan.
