I just finished these books. Sigh…. I always wish Laura had written more. Yes, we are on a first name basis. Now I’m reading books about Laura. When I was little, I wanted to be her. I could relate to having a perfect older sister.

Oh, and I too loved the Little House series of books, Mother read them to us as kids, and after I married, I read them to my hubby. I need to dig them out and read them again!
IF you have seen the movie CARS, then you know the Wigwam Motel was the inspiration for the Cozy Cone Motel in that movie. It is a beautiful cartoon/pixar movie, and lots of inspiration for us travelers to go find the places of inspiration.
Hello Katy, now it is time to send a reply to your blog. I am here in Germany and it is so nice and inspiring to read your blog. You are sewing like a thunderstorm and I am wondering who you can manage this. Very often I take your very good ideas from your work and you inspire very much and good vibes are so highly appreciated in these times. And.. we have in common: I have friends in MI, we were there one, and … we are not only in the same community of quilting we are as well in the same community of HD! I was highly impressed about your HD … and it is so fantastic quilting and riding a bike is not a no go!! ok, our weather conditions are not the same like in Arizona and I want once to cruise in the south.. not knowing if we ever can do – but we can dream about…. so, it is always so nice to the your HD pics or information. great you drive such a nice bike … mine is 1200 Sportster custom, but our weather are 😦 so we can’t drive to often and not the area you have. Free wide land….. but, we managed to see HD Museum in Milwaukee and drove on rented machines from Chicago to Milwaukee…. a big adventure (thunder storm!!). I have a great contact on privat email address to another blogger and so I took all my courage together and now writing to you, because I love MI, I love HD and I love quilting…. so much in common, or?
