Ta daaaaa!

Once the blocks were done, this was a pretty quick finish. I seem to gravitate toward these simple designs. Everything here came from my stash.

I think the binding fabric is rather ugly, but it worked well as a binding.

A simple solid worked for the backing.

The colors are a bit more true in this next photo.

And this is where it is living now, on the couch in my family room.

Have a great day!
Beautiful finish!
Due to the twisting in the Hour Glass blocks it tells my eyes that they are not set straight, and I had to give it a better look! Love your border fabric choice and the “ugly” is perfect for the binding.
so much movement in this quilt. i love it. it does look like it is on point. the ugly fabric knew it would find a great home and it did. great job. patti in florida
I really like it, Katy. The ugly binding is perfect.
I can’t tell you why, but I REALLY like this latest creation of yours. Right down to the ugly binding. It’s perfect on this quilt.
Another pretty finish, Katy. I think that fabric for the binding was a great way to use it!
How pretty –
the blocks kinda spin giving it a sorta on point look at first – I love it!
I love the way these blocks seem to be spinning! Such a sweet quilt.
