It’s done! I picked up this vintage top last winter. After some repairs, it was ready for hand quilting.

I used a large Baptist Fan stencil available from Barb at Fun with Barb, and size 5 ecru perle cotton.

As usual, I used I unbleached muslin for the back. It crinkled up nicely after washing.

The next few photos were taken before washing. I always find the comparison interesting.

Thanks for following along on this project! Have a great day!
Love your stitching! I know when machine quilting you are supposed to quilt from the middle out. Where do you begin tracing a large stencil like that? And do you trace one stencil worth and then hand quilt, or do you trace out the whole quilt first, before beginning hand stitching? Thank you for your help.
I love your hand stitching, Katy!
Beautiful quilt and your quilting is just wonderful!! Hugs,
Another pretty quilt, Katy! Love the crinkliness after washing!
