More Brights

I only used half of this jelly roll for my Orange Craze quilt. I couldn’t leave half of a jelly roll hanging around, so it was imperative that I find a project to use it up!

This is where I’m headed.

I start by sewing a solid orange and jelly roll strip together.

Then I fold in half and use my rotary cutter to trim off the very edge of the fold.

Sew the resulting two pieces together.

And repeat!

Time for a bit more exacting cuts. I grabbed my 3” strip die to get these.

I sew these three pieces end to end and one row is done. Easy peasy!

Time to sew those rows together.

Have a great day!

  1. What a great way to use up those leftover strips. You need to stop this, though. My “To Do” list gets longer every time you share. Just kidding! Keep it up!
