I finished this baby quilt and I quite like it. I think I have enough pieces left over to make another.

Machine binding is working out well with my new to me Bernina.

I used the same fabric for the backing and binding.

If you are interested, I wrote a blog post for AccuQuilt. You can find it here.
Have a great day!
Dear, Dear Katy, I didn’t get a chance to read this email/blog post until just now as I was in the early phases of CoVid19/Pneumonia when it came through. O.M.G! I was so desperately ill. I ended up in the hospital a day after my 79th birthday and was there 5 days.
Yesterday and today have been my best days so far. I have several specialist appointments lined up but I’m up around on my own two feets.
I was delighted to read your article on the Accuquilt website. Thanks for the link. It was so well done and I was amazed at all the COMMENTS you received. It was wonderful.

That turned out really cute! I love the bright colors together. Hugs,
Lovely quilt and I am interested in the machine binding technique – when I’ve tried that it turns out very stiff and inflexible, but I am using a (very) old Singer. Perhaps in future posts you might talk a bit more about your machine binding approach?
