In the quiet….

It’s no secret that I don’t love snow.

But the occasional early morning, when I have no place to go and coffee at hand, I can enjoy the view from my windows. There is also a certain quiet after the snow falls. It is a different sort of quiet, like the whole world is standing still, and holding it’s breath.

It is beautiful. God covers the world in white and reminds me that all things can be made clean and new.

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of you who shopped through my links this weekend. Your support means the world to me. As of yesterday, my blog has been around for 13 years! Crazy. Every year at this time, I ask myself, do I start deleting things? Or continue to pay the bill for all the web storage I use? Your support made that an easy decision this year.

In case you are still in the shopping mood, both Accuquilt and Fat Quarter Shop have extended their Cyber Monday deals through midnight tonight. Connecting Threads has their sale continuing through December 1st.

Have a great day!

It is sew beautiful the way snow covers the earth with quietness, covering the dirty with purity. Just as our Heavenly Father covers our sins with His purity and fills us with His peace when we ask Him. Beautiful pictures.

I have very similar thoughts about snow, and appreciated the fresh blanket of white we got this morning.
