Another dream came true recently! Hubby and I took classes to learn to ride last summer. He got his bike before we left Michigan, and I found mine out here.

It’s a 2015 Harley Davidson XG 750 with a retro custom paint job.

I hadn’t ridden since our classes last summer, but after spending a lot of time practicing in the neighborhood, we ventured out to my happy place, the White Tank Mountains.

My dad rode. Here is a photo of him with his last bike, a Honda Shadow. He loved that bike. He rode when he was quite young, quit for a while, and picked it up again when I was in college. When I came home from school, he’d take me on a long ride and we’d go out for lunch.

He rode up until the summer before he went to Jesus.

I wish I could ride with him now. Miss you, Dad.
Have a great day!
Thanks, Lori! My hubby had a spill on his bike. I’ve been teasing him that I’m the better rider. 😂 he has some broken ribs to heal before he rides again, but my daughter will ride with me on her Harley!

Oh, Katy!! He’s riding every single mile with you. He’s smiling down on you, blowing a special kiss on your forehead when you take your helmet off. Pay attention and you’ll feel it each and every time. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
How exciting! Hubby bought a motorcycle a few years ago. He was hoping to ride with his brother. Brother had an accident and sold the bike. 😦
hi katy, surely looks like you are enjoying your retirement by acting younger. (don’t mind me, i’m just a teeny bit jealous.) enjoy life. patti in florida
