While preparing to head west, I began thinking of how I might improve my Arizona sewing room. I had Daughter #2 take these photos so I could see how I left it.

It’s a real hodgepodge! I’m trying to decide how I can make it work better for me.

The messy look of my storage is bothering me.

Hmmmm…..lots to think about here. Want to help? I need ideas!
So if you have an old or new post with photos of your sewing room, organizational ideas, etc, link up below so we can all visit and share ideas. The link up will be open for one week. And to say thank you for sharing, I will draw one link for a giveaway prize! I’ll start the ball rolling by linking up an old post from my Michigan sewing room.
Have a great day!

I happened to clean out and rearrange my Armoire in the bedroom where a lot of my stash is housed here in my little tin home. I have a number of bins stacked as a side table for the couch, and each holds a project that is currently in Time Out. A number of them are also residing in the bottom of my closet as well. My large cutting mat is on top of my table which is covered to be my ironing board. There are only 2 chairs at the table to make room for the “side table” on one side, and on the other side is my bin for strings and scraps. It is not easy to make big things in this cramped space, I drool over all the lovely space you showed above. For working on bigger projects, as they grow I go to our local church which has a gym attached, and meet with friends to make a big quilt grow!
My quilt room is teensy, but I linked up my 2019 renov post anyway. There’s talk about another renov soon, so I’ll be watching you and checking out the other posts too!
I *just* moved and did a post of my new sewing space. It’s my favorite space by far over the past 20 years and several moves. It’s just so cozy and inspiring!
The only issue I see with your AZ sewing room is all the flat surfaces (each of which you need) and little storage. It would appear that you need a closet or cabinet for the batting and bulkier items. I took a peek at the inlinkz link party and enjoyed Quilt Mouse’s webpage very much. I look forward to others as they join.
My sewing room is a mess!! I look to you and other blog I follow for ideas to better organize!!
Hi Katy, Love seeing all your ideas, creations and sewing areas from the link you shared. My sewing area happens to be under construction/painting at this time. Still using it as I’m beginning to put things back, but undecided as to the where with a lot of it. I think I need to do on a trip to Ikea for fabric storage cabinets. I’m thinking under my cutting table long cabinet with lots of drawers of different sizes. Normally my hubby would just make them for me, but with the cost of wood these days and him so busy with his customers I guess I’m buying cabinets. I haven’t bought a cabinet in so many years. Looks like you’re looking for storage ideas too for your Arizona sewing area. I wonder if there’s an Ikea in Arizona. As you have great ideas for storage and use of the top of the lower cabinets too. Well time for me to go to work. Talk to you soon. Share pics as you go please. Thank you for all you do for Stitching Sisters too. No quilts headed your way as I figured you were getting ready to go to a warmer climate, lol Terri Bertalan
