Some of you that have been around a while, may remember my Dollhouse posts. If you are interested, click on the link in my sidebar to go back and look. Anyway, as part of our downsizing process, I sold my mid century modern ranch.

I took these photos before it was picked up. I loved creating this.

I built the kitchen and appliances from scratch, along with the table, and living room furniture.

I loved my egg carton fireplace!

And the hardwood floors.

I think my favorite things are the couch and chair I made.

I still have my big dollhouse. In fact, I’m taking it out to AZ with me! Daughter #2 has built a small dollhouse and I think we will have fun working on these and sharing ideas.
Hope you enjoyed this little look back. Good bye, little house!
You are one clever lady. Both Emily and Lynsey loved dollhouses and have theirs in the attic. They
made things too…but not nearly as clever as you are xo
Thanks for the updates on this house!! I missed the fireplace, somehow. Very cool. It’s makes me want to get into miniatures – no thank you – I do NOT need any more squirrel projects. Now we need an update on the big dollhouse!! Can’t wait to see what you two come up with. ~smile~ Roseanne
I remember it well, Katy. That was such a fun project. Using egg cartons for the fireplace was such a great idea. The kitchen appliances were my favorite part.
Wow that is great that you made your own furniture! I like the floor the best.
