At least that’s how I feel when the power goes out. We had some heavy storms here Tuesday night and we are still waiting for power to be restored. Hopefully, some time today we will be back in business.

This is a short walk from my house. Here is our backyard.

Another yard near ours.

It wasn’t Ida, so I’m not complaining. I’m very thankful that Daughter #1 had an empty freezer we could use. We are keeping a careful eye on water levels and I’ll be cleaning the refrigerated and freezer. God is good.
Hopefully I’ll be back to quilty content tomorrow.
Have a great day!
Oh heck fire – you got Wind!!! Not so cool – hope the clean up goes fast and easy
Yikes! Glad no one was hurt but I know how crazy it can get when you lose power. Stay dafe!
Wow That was some storm…hoping you will have power soon…let us know xo
You’re fortunate you can put the items from your refrigerator and freezer in a spare one at your daughter’s house. I’m always concerned about a long term loss of power. Hope the situation is short lived for you.
So sorry. Hope things are back to normal soon.
glad no one was hurt and that you only experienced minimal damage – except, of course, for the no electricity. that one always gets me – being in florida with no electric is torture. so many trees broken and down. that always hurts my heart. after you get your fridges done, you’re welcome to come do mine. :-)) patti in florida
Your trees appear to be leaning…
I’m so happy you all okay! God is good to us! I hope the clean up isn’t to bad. Hugs,
Always makes me sad to see those beautiful mature trees down. Glad you didn’t have any severe damage (and yes, thankful for that empty freezer). Hope all is back to rights soon! Yes, God is good!
Loosing power changes our daily priorities. I’m glad no one was hurt. Life will return to normal.
Oh, bummer! Hope you’re up and running soon. I love your positive attitude about the whole situation.
