Hand Quilting

I’ve been out of town for the past week. I managed to get a fair amount of hand quilting done.

It’s hard to see in this photo.

I’m using a small template I made and chalk to mark the quilting.

And I’m using pearl cotton to quilt with.

It shows up better on the back.

I will soon have to decide how to quilt the borders.

Have a great day!

i love the quilting- it’s great. and the perle cotton is a nice touch. i’m a fan of baptist fans, too, but this was a good choice. looking forward to the quilt-a-long tomororow! i’m almost done cutting out. (i’m going to use red/browns from stash) just need to do the brown rectangles. i looked, but no sizes are listed. can you tell me (us) what the sizes will be? i’m using my accuquilt, too, for the 3.5 squares and 3.5 x 6.5 rectangles. would you like me to try and make a bloggy/instagram button? like an “I’m In!” pic for instagram? i think i could pull that off this morning… would be fun to have a hashtag, and a pic to see who’s in….
