Slow Stitching Sunday

Remember this lovely top that my friend, Zenia, gave to me?

I finally got it basted.

Now I’m back to trying to decide how to quilt it. Of course, I considered big Baptist Fans. But we have a road trip coming up, and this gets a bit unwieldy to work on in a vehicle.

Smaller fans could work. I’m not ruling this out.

I also like the idea of a simple motif where these blocks come together. I could add diagonal lines through the chains.

I’m also considering using green perle cotton and big stitch quilting. I could have had this all hand quilted in the time it is taking me to decide!

Have a great day!
