I told you Monday that my 30s quilt top was demanding more blocks.

I made all my 4 patches and got everything ready. I made four blocks while watching the Accuquilt Live show yesterday.

Then I fixed this block.

A kind reader pointed out my mistake a while back. I’m so thankful she did! It’s all fixed now. I hope to get the last three blocks finished today.
I’ve had some questions regarding this project. First off, I love these blocks, I’m just tired of this project! I will love it again soon. 😊
Secondly, I figured out this block from an idea in my head. Scary, I know. I have no idea if there is a name for it. I did a tutorial that you can find here.
Have a great day!
I love this quilt. You have some of my favorite 30s in there-the little girls ironing and washing dishes!
How much of that green solid did you start with? It seems like you have an endless supply!
Kind reader here again. The block you fixed has another 4-patch turned on the left side just above the center. In the photo above it the upper right 1/4 section seems to have two 4-patches misplaced in its lower left corner.
I think you have a twin mistake in one of your new blocks. I love your quilt pattern but know just what you mean about being tired of a project. There is always a period when making a quilt that I fall out of love with it. I no longer fret about it as I know I’ll love it again 🙂
