I just can’t leave things alone…

I finished these blocks at least a month ago, but I haven’t been able to get myself to put them together.

I have 42 blocks. I’m sick of making them, but this quilt wants 49 blocks.

Some quilts are so bossy! I want to get these last seven blocks done this week and then NO MORE!

Have a great day!

I love this! And I so agree with Ricki’s comment on the gum wrapper chain. Good name for the quilt.

  2. Ricki says:

This quilt reminds me of the chains we made as kids out of gum wrappers. 🙂

  3. Barbara says:

I do not like all of those little pieces so I would sew strips together and cut them into squares and turn them different ways to get different patterns.

LOVE scrappy quilts…this is a lovely one with the green background fabric!! Good job. Show us when you are done!

  5. Angela McCubbins says:

I love the green background. I always use white. I’m going to do this with my next one. What is the pattern?

  6. Debbie Bein says:

Believe it or not, this is EXACTLY the PERFECT pattern for me to make, a mindless and therapeutic task to get involved with to get rid of my Reproduction stash like the one you used here.
Going to set it in yellow, however. I’m interested in knowing if there are directions or a pattern I can purchase, I can figure it out myself but I am getting lazier and lazier. Great to take advantage of how many this, how many that, cut widths, etc. Thanks if you can help. Debbie

  7. Good to know that it is a bossy pattern, because I have been thinking about making it. NOTE TO SELF: 49 blocks, or don’t even start.

  8. Bossy! I like that, indeed! LOL!

I don’t understand your dislike for these blocks. What is it about them?

  10. Hahaha! Some quilts have attitude.
