Instead of working on my Ladies Aid BOM, I focused on finishing these Pomegranate blocks.

I’m pretty happy with how they turned out, but if I’m honest, I don’t want to make any more. I was getting a wee bit bored!

I added this sashing, and now I’m trying to decide on a border.

Yellow might be the obvious choice, but that’s a bit too much. I should have used yellow for the corner stones. But I’m not taking it apart now. I’ll come up with something.
I also wanted to clarify something regarding the Quilt of Valor I showed yesterday. I know the veteran that I gave this to and he still has the quilt and is very appreciative of it. My photo was stolen and is being used by this company . I have nothing bad to say about the Quilt of Valor Foundation or our wonderful veterans. I am angry at a company that is ripping off customers and stealing my photo to line their pockets. I received great feedback from Shasta and will pursue this as she suggested.
Have a great day!
Not so nice Katy, you have to react!. But i admire your application!.
A very smaal yellow binding is that an idea?
Here is illness in the family, i do not write a reply every day! Love Anneke
That is terrible about your picture being stolen!! I’m glad you know what happened. I love your appliqué, it’s so pretty. Hugs,
i’m glad you solved the mystery of the quilt you made. i sometimes wonder just how low our civilization can go. if they spent half that time doing good, it would be so much better. i know what you mean about getting bored with the applique. it’s so much quicker for me to do on machine. yes, i do it well (as do you) but i don’t enjoy it. patti in florida
