My most recent leader/ender quilt is done!
I love the crosshatch on this.
I have had this backing fabric for years and this seemed the perfect quilt to use it.
You can see here how imperfect my grid is, but it doesn’t matter at all.
This was my inspiration. It was made by Gee’sBend quilter, Annie Bendolph.
Mine doesn’t have the same charm, but I’m still very happy with it. Here are a few photos after washing. I’m trying a new batting.
It doesn’t get quite as crinkly, but I love the weight of it. It is Pellon 80/20 and comes on a 120″ roll.
One last thing to share.
I would NOT have wanted to make this quilt without my Accuquilt dies and die cutter. So I wanted to share this deal with you. You can also get free shipping until August 2nd by clicking here.
Have a great day!

You did a beautiful job on this quilt! I see absolutely nothing wrong with your quilting! That is a lot of quilting in this quilt. Did you do it on a domestic machine? Lots of hard work! Hugs
I love how it turned out!! I think the quilting is perfect. Hugs,
I love how it turned out but I wonder if the center row being backwards was intentional on the original?
Oh, that is a very pretty quilt! Love that backing fabric!!
