Quilts of Valor

Here are the last two QOVs for this month. Here is another big one!

I thought this one would be simple and quick. Um, no. I had thread break after thread break. I changed needles three times. I changed to a new cone of thread, I rethreading multiple times. I had to go very slowly. It’s possible that this white on white fabric was the culprit. All my thread breaks were on this. I remember having this same issue with a fabric like this before.

Mama said there would be days like this…. I think it looks great now that it’s finally finished.

    I would have never thought the fabric would cause the thread to break! Interesting, though. We all have those frustrating days. Guess it’s apart of sewing.

  2. These are beautiful!! and how fun for me to see one made of my mystery pattern!! that just made my day ( its called Dakota Inspired just in case you wanted to know)
