Pomegranates

I picked up this book at a garage sale a while back. I love every quilt in it!

Since I am caught up on the applique blocks for my BOM, I decided to try this. Looks easy enough.

Until you see that the blocks finish at a mere four inches! Yikes! I decided to upsize mine to 8 inch blocks.

I think I’ll use Kona snow for the background. Wish me luck.

    Did you free-hand enlarge that or photocopy enlarge it? I wish I’d had that book when I needed a pomegranate design two months ago….though my project came out nicely and the recipient was pleased. P.S. The vintage yardage arrived earlier this week. It’s terrific!

    Jo Morton books are so good! It will be fun to watch your progress on this quilt.
