None of the stencils worked out on my little quilt. I just couldn’t get them lined up quite right. So I just added more crosshatching. As it turns out, you can hardly even see the quilting anyway.
I decided to use a single fold binding. As you can see here, a single width of fabric strip was just enough!
I need to do this more often on little quilts. It looks so much better than a bulky double fold. Here are photos before washing.
And after washing.
I love this little quilt! It finished up at 8 3/4 by 11 1/2 inches after washing.
Have a great day!
I love your little quilt! HUGS… and stitches
It’s very cute, Katy! Not much larger than a sheet of copy paper!
I love it! Hugs,
What a sweet little quilt! Hope you don’t mind if I link this post to our monthly mini’s at the end of the month. I know people will want to see this one.
That pink along with the brown binding is such a pretty combination. Love the crinkly texture after the wash!
A very sweet little one.Never before i saw a flying geese with an extra stripe. Love it.
So so cute
