I promised I’d share my secret to easy on point settings, here it is!
This die was introduced at the Accuquilt launch party today, but as a GO! Getter, I was able to get my hands on it early.
I used it to cut the light blue setting triangles for my jewel box quilt, and it was so easy and accurate! I have the 8 inch setting die set so it works with 8 inch blocks. It included the side and corner triangles. No guesswork or sizing up and trimming down.
I don’t know where this green backing fabric came from, but it was in the stash and worked.
Now I want to set all my quilts on point!
I’d like to get the 4 and 6 inch setting dies as well.
Before I go, I wanted to let you know that you can get 25% off your total order at Accuquilt , today only, with the code LIVE25.
Have a great day!

This is super nice! I wanted to let you know that I was unable to attend the “on point” workshop this morning. I didn’t get any confirmation that I had register though when I tried to (re) register it said my email was already used. There was no way for me to participate and I was really bummed.
I, too, wonder where some of the fabric my stash came from…fairies, maybe?
I plan to set my Bow Tie and Snowball blocks on point when the time comes. ππΌππΌ
Ooolala! Is there a setting triangle die for the Studio?
That blue was a great choice to edge the bright blocks! Sometimes on-point is the perfect setting.
