Snowballs

I’ve had a quilt on my bucket list for a while and decided to cut it out when I was home. I used the 6″ snowball die and the 6″ square die from Accuquilt

I used Kona White for the snowball blocks and some older prints from Connecting Threads for the rest. They have a 30s feel to them.

I was in a hurry and not very careful cutting my snowballs out and had more waste than I really needed to.

Before I threw these in the scrap bucket, I die cut them down to 2″ HSTs.

I ended up with minimal waste and a good start on a new project.

Have a great day!

  1. There is a more waste on the Hattie’s choice cutting than I like and I did the same thing, cut them down into 2″ HST.

Waste not, want not. Good job, Katy. I’m looking forward to the snow balls. That’s a die I don’t own.
