Hiking and Photography in the Mountains

I have a nice camera. It is a Canon 6D DSLR. I admit, it intimidates me. I used it in Iceland, but then never picked it up until last week. Now I’m learning everything all over again. Not that I ever knew much.

Anyway, it is so gorgeous here that i certainly can’t use lack of opportunity as an excuse! So I spent time in one my my favorite places this week, White Tank Mountain Regional Park. Here are a few of my photos.

I went back later that night and took a few more.

I have SO much to learn. But it’s never too late to try something new. Photos, no matter how good, will never replace seeing God’s magnificent creation first hand.

Have a great day!

    Great photos! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Beautiful Photos!! Always keep learning… but with a DSLR – you know you take as many photos as you want, delete the ones you don’t like and no one is any wiser haha!! Enjoy exploring!

Those are beautiful photos, Katy, but I agree with your comment that nothing beats the “real” thing.
