Improv Curves Part 2

Still playing with these curves.

And I’m still not sure where I’m going. I added double curves on a few blocks.

This is how I did it. Layer blocks right sides up.

Freehand cut a curve.

Flip and stitch.

I’m not in love with this yet. But I am getting better at cutting and sewing the curves.

Here’s a tip if you try this. If you sew your curve and it doesn’t look smooth, don’t rip!

Just sew again making it smoother. The first line of stitching will act like basting.

  1. Those soft muted colors have a cool southwestern vibe. I’m so addicted to improv curves lately – I can’t stop playing with them!
