It took me forever to figure out how to quilt this! But I’m finally making progress. I started with this….
But then I doubled up.
Much better.
I tried many different ideas for the blocks and ended up with a crosshatch. Nearly everything is rulerwork, except for the cornerstones. It’s slow going, but beginning is half done!

Isn’t it fun to find the “Just Right Quilting Design” for your quilt? I do find it challenging to let go of one idea and then move on to another, but when the right shows up, it just clicks.. I do think that this process takes time and I’m glad you stuck with it. If it doesn’t feel right, then try another design. Who is in a rush for these things anyways? I like reading your ideas and then seeing the final product. Merry Christmas…
