I thought I’d have this top together in a day after piecing the blocks. I tried several different solids for alternate blocks.
What I thought would be a great idea, just wasn’t. I even tried this print.
Yeah, that’s a no. I started thinking about just putting them together block to block.
Sigh, I thought this would be quick and easy. Back to the drawing board.

How about a wide sashing and corner stones like the old timey quilts.
Have you thought about just sashing them? Might be easier than lining up all those seams. Probably what I should have sone with the one I just made … sigh ~
You’ll come up with something good, I’m confident of that. Maybe they are centers for star blocks?
