I gave up on the Hexies and put them back in the box. I pulled out this box of 2 1/2 inch strips cut from old shirts instead.
I grabbed these out of the box and decided to make a jelly roll race quilt.
I squared the ends and sewed them into one very long strip.
When I went to change my bobbin, I found this!
Then Daughter #2 called and asked if I wanted to go shopping. Of course, I said yes!
To be continued…
Have a great day!
Your machine has quite the hairy lint pile! LOL! Hmmm….a shirting jelly roll race, interest is peaked!
Aww, that puppy love cannot be beat! {{Hugs}} Enjoy shopping with DD! How great is that, that you can do that. Priceless. ~smile~ Roseanne
That looked like a lot of lint! Cute pups. Enjoy shopping but do it safely.
I have lost interest in my hexies too. They are big, palm-sized ones tho. I may sell the project.
Cute pups under your table. Shopping with daughters is the best! After I commented about the triangle idea on the hexies, I kept seeing your posts on triangles with hexies on Pinterest. Left me chuckling, as you commented about how many triangles were needed. Ha – yeah – so maybe not, huh? Enjoy your day!
Two little hair balls under there! LOL Hugs,
lol! Now that’s CUTE!!! 🙂
