A New Old Project

Way back when, I made a quilt for my sweet mom in law. A while later, I kitted up the leftovers into a couple projects for her. She makes the most beautiful bags, but never got around to the kits. So she brought them back to me when she visited us last week.

These were intended to become a table runner.

This was the perfect project yesterday when my head was tired from comparing solar quotes and I just wanted to sew. I didn’t lay anything out. Before long, I had the runner pieced.

The colors are much prettier than this photo shows. I took it after dark. I’ll try to get another photo in natural daylight.

Have a great day!

The colors in that piece are beautiful, even though you took it after dark. I love it.

  3. Sometimes a project like that is just what is needed. A simple layout, a pretty runner and a fast finish. Will be fun to see how you quilt this.
