Finally a bit more sewing on these blocks cut from men’s shirts.
They have widely varied fabric content which adds an element of difficulty to the sewing. But the shirts have a lot of sentimental value. I placed the blocks I had finished on the wall so the length and width is shown.
This keeps me motivated as I can see exactly how much is left to do.
I’d forgotten how much I enjoy using my Singer 301! Willy seems to get into every photo I take.
Silly pup. Have a great day!
That’s a fun project to see on your design wall (and Willy is so cute). Is that a mini iron you have?
This is a great project! I might need to pull fabric and star my own wall of hourglass blocks.
I, too, enjoy piecing with a Singer 301A. They make such nice even stitches. Thank you for taking time to post. I look forward to each post and they motivate me to work on my stack of unfinished quilting projects. Happy Thanksgiving.
