Slow Stitching Sunday

I’m still working on my GFG quilt. Jeana Kimball issued a 50 Days of Hand Quilting challenge on Instagram and I decided to jump in. My goal is to complete one flower and the surrounding green bits each day.

So far, I’m keeping up. There are 86 total, so I’m hoping getting 50 done will give me enough momentum to finish this year. Here is the back.

I’ve been using a hoop rather than my floor frame since I do so much turning. I’m loving how this looks!

Happy stitching!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!
