Finish It Up Friday ~ Finally!

It’s done!

I used a pantograph called Fern Meander to quilt it.

I had wide backing, but it wasn’t wide enough. So I inserted this brown and pink strip.

The green vine worked a treat for the binding.

The problem with making s gigantic quilt like this, is trying to find a place to take photos of it! These were taken at a local park.

Stats: 875 4 inch finished tumblers

Finished size: 107 by 108 inches

Started piecing: July 27

Last stitch: August 18

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!
