Hubby and I went bumming around last weekend and did a bit of junking along the way. I picked up this sweet little doll bed for a dollar at one garage sale we stopped at.
Of course, it didn’t look like that when I bought it. It looked like this.
It didn’t take much to get it back in shape.
It had this tag on it and I looked it up online. It originally was part of a little bunk bed set.
I found these at an estate sale. This is Catherineholm enamelware from the 1960s. I’ve only ever found one piece before so I was thrilled to find all of this!
I picked up this fun little letter board at our favorite discount store. I thought it would be fun to use for photos.
It was fun to spend the day with Mr, Wonderful driving around in the Jeep with the top down and no scheduling or agenda.
Have a great day!
Sounds like a great weekend!!
Those dishes are beautiful. I had never seen them before. Great find!
I adore that little doll bed with the quilt on it. You DO find the neatest things! I have a Boyd bear. It’s possible the bed and a little bear were sold as a set. Your dogs are as cute as can be and could well be on the cover of a calendar.
You find the neatest things! It is too hot here for estate sales (over 100 degree heat streak).
I will have to keep my eye out for doll beds.
It sounds like a wonderful day together! You also scored some wonderful finds. Hugs,
You find so many fun things when you go junking. Love that little bed, but those dishes are amazing!
That is an awesome photo of your dogs. It looks like a professionally staged photo with a great snap of your subjects. Thanks for keeping us inspired each day.
