More Batik Strip Blocks

I’m back at it here. I took the rest of these blocks and sewed them into strips.

It is so irritating that I have that piece on the right left over! Anyway, today I’m looking for something to cut into long strips to go in between these pieced strips. I want this to end up close to the same width as the one I shared yesterday. I plan to load and quilt them both at the same time on the long arm.

Finally, this pan is empty! Have a great day!

  1. I second what others have suggested – applique those leftovers onto the back – would be cute. The batiks are great together!

This is going to look wonderful! Love the scrappiness factor.:)

  3. Or I could send you a few batik pieces….

  4. I’d use that leftover piece in the backing – would be a cute that pop of color and surprise on the back of the quilt! (No ripping required, either, which is a win in my book!)

I was thinking the same thing Diane.

  6. Mary Ed Williams says:

put the leftovers in the backing or label

You could take the little block apart, add one piece to each strip and then only have one tiny piece left over, if I counted right.
