QOV

Finally! I found inspiration for that Quilt of Valor I wanted to make!

This is a free pattern I found here.

In no time at all, I had all 12 blocks done. Here are 8 of them.

Time to cut some sashing and get this together. Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

Well . . . guess what! My best friend, since we met in second grade and we are now 70, pulled me into the world of QOV. We’ve been doing stuff like that all these years. Ever since makng my first top, I see QOV potential in so many patterns. I am not one for endless re-makes (get bored easily) and there are so many quilts to make. I even have a whole category of QOV patterns I refer to as LaVettes (those w/a feminine flair for vets who are women). Enjoy QOV-ing, just one more quilting addiction!!

  2. Oh, it will be a terrific QOV for sure!
