This has been finished for a while, but I didn’t want to post until it had been handed off.

I kept the quilting very simple and just freehanded loops. I couldn’t use a panto, because I needed to avoid bulky intersections, embroidered patches, and buttons!

I used an 18 needle on the long arm and didn’t have any issues at all quilting through even thick screen printing.

This shirt was a bit of a challenge!

The weather was very rainy when I finished so I had to take all my photos inside.
Have a great day!

Looks great! I have made t-shirt quilts for all three of my daughters high school graduations. They love them! I just had someone ask me to make one using sports jerseys! I am hesitant because it seems like the fabric would be hard to work with. Do you have any experience with that?
A classic t-shirt quilt and so well done!
It looks great. Well done.
I love the variation of block sizes and colors. This is the best T shirt quilt I have ever seen.
Wonderful finish, Katy. Someone will treasure this!
Nicely done! Yikes, though – buttons?! I have a t-shirt quilt “in the wings” for my daughter. She and I agreed to wait until she is a bit more settled somewhere; not sure when that will be. I’m okay with waiting to finish the quilt LOL
Wonderful quilt! I’m sure it’ll be treasured for years by the recipient.
What a great quilt! Your quilting is just perfect and the layout of the shirts is A+. Bravo!!!
