Gee’s Strips

I finished my little triangle quilt and still had a few scraps left over. So I cut them into 1 1/2 inch strips and stitched them end to end.

Then I sewed them together like a tiny jelly roll race quilt.

I had enough binding left from the HST quilt to bind this one.

These are the left overs that were swept into the bin after this photo was taken.

Time to quilt!

Not enough.

Nope, still not enough.

That’ll do. Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

  1. What a GREAT idea. Would make a perfect doll quilt, hot pad set, wall hanging, mug rug…Thank you for the inspiration. I have a large box of strings that have been asking for purpose. This just might be it!

Wow! That’s making good use of fabric. Thanks for sharing the fun you had making use of your scraps. Mine keep piling up. Time to do something cute with them.
