I decided it was time to take down the Valentine quilts ( yes, really) and put up a few red, white, and blue quilts.
Not a great photo, but it’s the first time hanging this in my front hall.
This one isn’t patriotic, but I’m not ready to put it away yet. It seems good advice for our times.
As soon as I folded this red string quilt, Willy decided to upchuck on it. Did I ever mention that I make quilts to be used? This one has been washed a gazillion times already.
Have a great day!
What a terrific collection. Your family room looks so patriotic and cozy too. The postage stamp quilt is amazing. And I love the photo of the eagle quilt with the sunshine streaming on it. I totally agree – quilts are to be used, loved, washed, repeat!
I love all of these…You are inspiring me to dig out a few myself…I , too like the one on the table best!! Upchuck….I have not heard that word since my grandmother died!!!
A great theme, and heartwarming to see them altogether.
love all you new quilts that you decorated with-
my favorite one is the little patch one on the table–how cute–
and does this mean I need to take down my red heart quilt on the wall too???
stay safe, luv, di
I love all of them!! I love when you show how your decorating with your quilts and I see some I forgot you had done. My big quilts have had some good accidents from the fur babies and grands but that’s what the washer is for. Have a great weekend. We are going to celebrate my grandson turning the big 4. Hugs,
Well, if it makes you feel any better, I have finally removed the Christmas pillow covers from the pillows in the living room. I now have one pillow covered in a summery top, the other one is still nekid and needing a new cover. LOL. I have my RWB quilts in a stack on my loveseat, waiting to be hung (don’t want to be too ahead of the game, y’know). And of course Willie would baptize the quilt just when you were ready to get it in place! Quilts are meant to be used and loved!
What a lovely collection of red, white and blue quilts you have on display!!
Nice works all Waving ~ ~ ~ with my morning coffee in hand Julierose
