This came together so quickly! It was the perfect setting for my swap stars.
I changed mine up a bit, using the blue for the setting triangles.
I wish I had quilted the hanging diamonds closer, but I can live with it.
I bought this toile back when we lived in France in the late 1990s.
The rest of these photos show the quilt after washing.
And here it is hanging in my family room. The stars finish at 6 inches and the quilt finished at 50 by 60 inches.
Have a great day!
Every thing about this quilt is perfect…everything!
Gorgeous finish!!! That setting is just perfect!
A very handsome quilt – congratulations!
A stellar (pun intended) finish!
Wow it’s fabulous. I saw mine in one picture, the solid bright pink one! That yellow/ blue side triangles is amazing and I do love the hanging diamonds. Don’t see that often enough.
Love, love, LOVE it, Katy! The blue and gold work so well together. Great job!
I love a lot your yellow (chrome ?) ! Perfect with the stars !!
Congratulations Katy !
That is gorgeous!!
I so appreciate your posts! I have a project that I am setting basketweave blocks on point with a yellow fabric such as you’ve done. Bordering in blue like you did is truly inspired. I am going to finish off my project with a companion color to the yellow ones. Many thanks! Pinned it.
I love your quilt! I love your background fabric and your blue fabric. Hugs,
The quilt sure has a delightful, vintage feel! Love it!
That is so pretty, Katy! I love it. Always enjoy your photos too – you find such lovely spots!

This turned out great! I love the use of both yellow and blue for the background. Well done.
Such a sweet quilt! Love everything about it.
I really like your use of the blue for the setting triangles. The blue border enhances the overall look of the quilt. Lovely!
