I’m my never ending rummaging, I found a few more things to finish. The first one is just a small piece.
This one is about 30 inches square. I pieced this ages ago.
I think one of my girls pieced these next two. I may finish them up for donation quilts.
I also found machine quilting samples galore. I’ve used them to make zipper bags in the past. I need to find other ways to use them.
Have a great day!
Gosh I agree. The plaid Lone Star is very appealing, but then I’m from New England. I found an old long forgotten project three weeks before Christmas. The timing was perfect as I needed a present for a 13 year old grandson. It started with a panel of the galaxy and some pieced blocks sewn on. It ended up being the hit of our Christmas gathering. Always heartwarming when a forgotten project turns into a super star. Good luck as you transform these projects.
Oh my, I REALLY like that plaid star! (I pinned it on one of my Pinterest “Blocks I Like” board if that’s ok) Do you have a favorite method for making these Lone Star designs?
