Here is another project from my UFO list. Since I have a trip this month, I figured it was a good time to work on this.

I have two more rows ready to add and then a bunch more pieces.

I’ll leave the big part at home and work on putting those rows together and then adding in to that.

We shall see how far I get! Have a great day!

About katyquilts
I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!
Marvelous!
They’re special. I like the bright look of it already. I’m going to pull out my hexies just as soon as I get this second secret project done. Quilting it now and then I can relax within a soothing scene of hand stitching.
Cutting those hexagons with the plastic template must be agonizing work after using the AccuQuilt Studio.
I do paper piecing. At quilting exhibitions, I have often received some very sniffy comments about it being the slowest way to work. That’s the point. I like your idea of building it by rows. I had never thought of that.
