I received this beautiful fabric as a gift from my sweet friend, Donna. I used to work as a reference librarian. I loved that job!
This matching yardage is from Daughter #3.
Inspiration hit and I pulled some more fabrics and got out this Accuquilt die.
It didn’t take long to cut over 200 rectangles. I then divided into two equal piles of roughly lights and darks.
Then I sewed into twosies.
A quick press and I’m ready for the next step.
This will be my first finish of 2020. Have a great day!

That’s a great collection of prints. Happy sewing.
Katy, as a soon to be retired school librarian and quilter, I would love to buy some “library” fabric. Who is the designer/manufacturer of those?
Isn’t that a wonderful line of fabric? I met the designer at the Wisconsin Quilt Expo last fall. She’d created a big quilt with the library symbol (the reader in profile). Remember you are welcome to join us in the ALA Biblioquilters. We have several great collaborative projects in the works for ALA Annual 2020!
Love it! And your daughter has very good taste in fabric…Kudos!
Hi Katy! Cute, cute, CUTE fabric. I love the library and used to work in our school library as a student and then volunteered later. I always wanted to get one of the card catalog holders and repurpose it just because I loved them. ~smile~ Roseanne
