I did a bit of shopping online Thanksgiving weekend. This is my loot!
This is what I got at Fat Quarter Shop .
And this is my order from Hab and Dash. The thread is for Friday, my longarm. The rest is stabilizer for machine embroidery.
And this is what I got from Accuquilt.
I listened to this book and enjoyed the first 3/4 of it.
Dave Barry is a self avowed atheist. The last part of the book tells of a crippling illness that his daughter endured. She recovered, but he uses this to affirm his atheism. I found it so sad to live a life with no hope for what happens when it is over.
Have a great day!
I loved Dave Berry’s column when we got the newspaper (many years ago…) – it’s sad to hear about his (or anyone’s) denial of God. I deal with a few long-term health issues and I’m SO thankful that I have the strength and peace of mind that only God can give!
You showed great restraint in the thread department! I love using Glide 60 for denser quilts. I listened to that book last summer and had the same reaction. How hopeless is life without the true hope.
I love that bundle of fabrics you ordered! That will make a lovely quilt!
Oh, those fabrics are full of yummy goodness. Will be fun to see what you do with them. That die would be a handy one to have. I share your sentiments on his outlook on life. So sad.
The Temecula fabrics are so nice. Sheryl J.made a good design !
I bought them also Katy . ( F.Q.shop website) Lovely for mini’s. Have a nice day!
