Black and White

Mr. Wonderful and I went hiking at White Tank Mountain while in AZ. I decided to play with photos in black and white while we were there.

Have a great day!

    Your pictures are wonderful! Hugs,

  2. LOVE B&W photos! The texture really shows up well without the “distraction” of colours.

    Great pictures, Katy!
Many years ago, I took a B/W photography class (this was back in the days before auto focus and way before digital photography had even been thought of!!) it was as amazing class….the instructor told us that if we could learn to take great black and white photos, we would always have great success because, in black and white, we had to compose our shots based on value since we didn’t have colors to help with composition. I would say if you took that class you would get an A+ for sure!!
Thanks for sharing these great pictures!

It’s interesting to see how different landscapes look in black and white. Very Ansel Adams.
