I decided to open a quilt shop and thought you might like to check it out….
Look at all that beautiful thread!
Nice FQ displays as well.
The up stairs has a bed for displaying quilts (or taking a nap).
And another vintage machine for me to use. See that I even have my coffee close at hand?
Here is the back of the building. I have lots of natural light in my studio.
Okay, so it isn’t a real shop….but this beauty was built by my son. He is an AFOL (adult fan of Lego). Yes, there are millions of adults that are into Legos.
He is building an entire town. Smart son that he is, he knows no town is complete without a quilt shop. If you would like to see more, there is a video here.
Have a great day!
Your son’s lego shops are amazing, particularly this Sew Shop. I am also a quilter and I dream to build one to put it in my quilt room. Does your son sell the plan or instruction of this particular Sew Shop please?? So far I have built a Singer sewing machine and I would love to have a “Quilt Shop” in my collection. Thank you. And please tell your son this is a beautiful creation.
That is so cool! I love legos and so do both of my grown sons. Can’t wait to see his finished town.
It’s easy to see creativity runs in your family.
How cool is that. I have four Lego nuts in my family ranging in age from 4 – 18. I’ll send on the link. Thank you!
Charming! Last week I was at a yard sale with doll house components. I was so tempted!
That is wonderful!! Hugs,
I watched the video. I love to see what people build with them. Very creative. Your son has talent. I loved his city. Legos are for every age. I hope he never quits working with them. Maybe he will build a fair as part of his city. So much inspiration!
I love it!!!
Oh my word! That is about the cutest thing ever! I love Lego too, but have never seen anything like this!
This is awesome!
Love this! You gave me my first smile for the day.
What fun!
All he needs is real quilts to replace his replicas and it will be even more authentic.
He is amazing!! I have an adult lego wizard in my family, too. 🙂
Well, how fun is this?!? That must have taken him a while to put together!
how cute!
That is totally adorable. I love building legos with my grandson so I can definitely appreciate the work
Adorable!!!!!!
