Thank you for all the sweet comments on my little doll bed! Many of you said it was likely a canopy bed. I feel certain you are right!
At the same sale, I picked up this vintage quilt top.
It has some lovely fabrics!
And some issues.
It actually has quite a few frayed seams that need to be fixed. It was handpieced and it appears to have been washed. This is never a good thing deal with a vintage top as the seams often fray beyond repair.
Now, what to do with it? Hmmmm…..gonna have to think on that one.

Glad to see you rescuing old tops and blocks. I also love doing this. Seeing your recent posts makes me realize that I need to pull some out and finish them up.
My response to, “What will you do with it?” is “I’m going to own it.” What a lovely addition to your collection!
