One more UFO to check off the list! I made these star blocks ages ago from my hand dyed fabric.
I finally came up with an arrangement for them. And used this long hoarded Ikea print on the back.

Gotta love that texture!

I’m sure I will find the baby that it will belong to in time. Until then, it looks great in the room E3 takes his nap in when he is here.
Have a great day!

What a great way to use some orphaned blocks to make something bright and useful! I, too, love the quilting texture particularly in the negative space.

What a terrific way to use those blocks that were hiding their beauty in the UFO pile! It’s a lovely quilt!
I think this would make a gorgeous wall hanging in E3’s room!
That is one of my favorite quilting motif’s that you use. Looks so good with all the negative space. Amazing how just flipping the pieces around and changing the color placement makes the blocks so different. Love this. 🙂
It looks wonderful! I also love the backing and quilting. It will make one lucky baby very happy. Hugs,
Just wonderful!
I like the arrangement of the blocks, giving it the modern edge. The quilting, along with the backing fabric, really brings it all together! What a fun finish, Katy!
It looks great! Love that Ikea fabric and the quilting gives it so much texture ❤
That’s a great quilting motif. Well done. And that back is awesome.
