I’ve been working on another Fat Quarter Shop Remix project. I’m using these fabrics from al older Paula Barnes line called Carolina Blues.

I used these dies from Accuquilt along with my die cutter to cut my pieces.

Here they all are! I love a pretty pan of pieces!

And here are bits of the first few blocks.

These take a while to make, but I’ve enjoyed the process.
Have a great day!

Lovely fabric!!
I love the fabrics and look forward to seeing what you make. Hugs,
You have a wonderful sense of color and a knack for combining them beautifully. And so much energy. You are a whirlwind of activity and accomplishments. Should be simply gorgggeeous.
I love it when you show which dies you use when making a block.
Hi Katy, I just acquired a TON of civil war repro fabrics from a local auction and am excited to start using them. I notice that you use your Accuquilt dies a LOT. Do you, somewhere in your archives have a tutorial for how you use one of them? In particular, I’m wondering about the dies that have a mixture of shapes on them but you only want to use one of the shapes. How do you arrange your fabric?
Oh, those fabrics are going to make a beautiful Union Square quilt. I’ve only done one block for the remix, but I plan to make a whole quilt, working on the blocks at my own pace.
