Design Wall Monday ~ Dutch Hexies Again

I have my quilt top taken apart and have been playing with some lay outs.

I have another trip coming up and I’d like to take this along to work on. I’m not loving any of these so I will keep at the design wall.

Also, I’ve been very remiss in responding to comments. Life has been crazy busy and I don’t see it letting up any time soon.

Have a great day!

About katyquilts

I am a wife, mom of four amazing kids, and a librarian. I have been making traditional quilts for ages but have ventured into art qulting in the last several years. I also love to knit socks and mittens and dye my own fabric. I am thankful to God my Father and Creator for the gift of creativity!

There are some interesting variations there. If you don’t like any of these, I look forward to seeing what else you come up with.

I’ve seen epp patches like that put together with black diamond shapes and it’s beautiful. Of course that would mean making a gazillion of them!

    Love the second picture!

  4. I’m not much help as I like all the layouts. I might be most partial to the medallion layout.

I like #4 with the light and dark going in the same direction.
