This and That

I have most of my Scrappy Trip blocks done. I can see on this photo that I have one block turned wrong.

While watching the Olympics, I took apart a bunch of hubby’s shirts that he had cleaned out of his closet.

Big E spent the night and after he left the next day, I found his buddy, Stinky in the sewing room. He is well loved!

The weather improved enough this week that the snow melted and roads were clear enough to walk the grand dogs.

Last weekend, we hit up a few antique shops. I loved this top, but it was over my budget.

We stopped at an army surplus store also. I loved this Jeep they had inside the store!

Don’t you think I need one like this?

And this quilt is heading back to my friend that gifted the top to me. Her grandmother made the top. I loved working on it, but I’m more than happy to send it home where it belongs.

Have a great day!

  1. My husband wants a Jeep like that in the worst way. In his mind a person can’t have too many Jeeps!

Hey that jeep looks good on you! 😀 What a very thoughtful thing to do to finish off that quilt for your friend. I sure don’t see great quilts like you seem to find in our antique stores and I love the bright colors you are using in your scrappy trip quilt. Those go together pretty quickly, don’t they?

  8. You look great in the Jeep.

  9. My grandpa had a jeep just like that – it looks good on you! LOVE how your scrappy trips is truning out

  10. What a fun post. It’s interesting how you can really see your quilt when you look through the camera lens or see a photo. (Stinky is adorable!)
