I have most of my Scrappy Trip blocks done. I can see on this photo that I have one block turned wrong.

While watching the Olympics, I took apart a bunch of hubby’s shirts that he had cleaned out of his closet.

Big E spent the night and after he left the next day, I found his buddy, Stinky in the sewing room. He is well loved!

The weather improved enough this week that the snow melted and roads were clear enough to walk the grand dogs.

Last weekend, we hit up a few antique shops. I loved this top, but it was over my budget.

We stopped at an army surplus store also. I loved this Jeep they had inside the store!

Don’t you think I need one like this?

And this quilt is heading back to my friend that gifted the top to me. Her grandmother made the top. I loved working on it, but I’m more than happy to send it home where it belongs.

Have a great day!

The Jeep is you! I like your scrappy trip quilt, too.
What a fun post. It’s interesting how you can really see your quilt when you look through the camera lens or see a photo. (Stinky is adorable!)
My grandpa had a jeep just like that – it looks good on you! LOVE how your scrappy trips is truning out
You look great in the Jeep.
Hey that jeep looks good on you! 😀 What a very thoughtful thing to do to finish off that quilt for your friend. I sure don’t see great quilts like you seem to find in our antique stores and I love the bright colors you are using in your scrappy trip quilt. Those go together pretty quickly, don’t they?
O.M.G!! That scrappy quilt is gorgeous!! I have a ‘trip’ quilt on my bucket list…I may just steal this idea 😉
and meant to add that I love the quilt you show at the top
love the jeep and in the store how neat. Love how the quilt turned out and to give it back to your friend will be special
Yes, you need the Jeep and the quilt! Haha!
The quilt turned out beautiful, such a great job! I just got my stencils from Fun with Barb and plan on using it soon. Have a wonderful and blessed day Katy.
My husband wants a Jeep like that in the worst way. In his mind a person can’t have too many Jeeps!
